PARIS - NEUILLY SUR MARNE - VITRY LE FRANCOIS - COLMAR

REGULATION

Article 1: PARIS-COLMAR is organized by the circle of the Sports of France according to the regulations of the French union of athletics.

Article 2: The dispositions which appear in the present regulations, and that are not envisaged in the regulations of the Confederation Frenchwoman of Athletics, but that are accepted beforehand and as consequence of their commitment by the walkers, will have force of law so much that they will not be opposite in the regulations of the Confederation Frenchwoman of Athletics and the International Confederation of Amateur Athletics. AMATEUR.

Article 3: The organizers can decide to add any modifications to sequence envisaged by test. They can take also any new measures which concern particular commitments of the walkers, such as: modifications of course or the hour of departure, etc and, more in general, any modifications without renunciation above is limitative, but only given for information only. The officials, rivals and trainers, will be put in the picture, for application of any modifications which will become annexes to these present regulations.

Article 4: Without prejudice to penalties envisaged by the special regulations of "PARIS-COLMAR" it am explained that the organizers save right to exclude "PARIS-COLMAR" in come every walker or every person belonging to test, so much as regards present regulations, that as regards disciplines and baggage rooms of the organization (improper keeping, tendentious purpose, affronts, incorrectness, etc). Under the benefit of this observations special regulations were established by the organizers of "PARIS-COLMAR". The dispositions of these regulations are recorded for aims and for purposes defined below.

Article 5: This test is opened to the walkers French amateurs, seniors categories, veterans men and women laid off in the CONFEDERATION FRENCHWOMAN Of ATHLETICS, and to the foreign walkers, seniors categories, veterans men and women, college graduates in a National Confederation affiliated to the IAAF.

Article 6: Test will unite competitors Men and Women on different distance (Men - Women - Promotion) invited by the manager of test - the president of Circle of the Sports of France, organizing club of test.

Promotion: The category Promotion is reserved for the walkers who were never qualified in Paris-Colmar (Paris-Strasbourg). The walkers who will have attained Colmar one year will not be authorized to participate a second time in this category.

Article 7: The competitors will have the faculty to make draw away on foot, obligation being made to walk and not to run (except special infringement).

Article 8: Departure will be refused everything chosen that would not have signed the sheet of commitment offered straight after its selection.

Article 9: When an indicated competitor will be prevented from participating in test, he will have to notify inevitably and immediately the Committee of it of Organization.

Article 10: The organizers will take in their load an indemnification of expenses of displacement of the competitors since their place of residence to PARIS. For those living out of underground France and the Foreigner, one take care of them counts return ticket on border - according to the financial circular. Every walker will receive an indemnification of stay on test (been false daily). An obligatory medical examination will take place in the permanence of departure The doctor and the manager of test can forbid departure in case of deficient physical condition. It will be given to every competitors a movement order and of numbers. The official trainer of every walker will also have to withdraw the official rooms accrediting it and differentiating him to the Officials and to the Service of Security. Every competitors will have to be inevitably accompanied by a car. The single vehicle will be authorized to follow the walker permanently or to stay in its immediate circle, other vehicles inevitably have to split on the course of test or park in places allowing it.

Article 11: The chosen competitors who agreed to compete for test will have to have acquainted with the present regulations and subscribe to it. They have to accept it without restriction, nor reservation in each of the articles.

Article 12: Every competitors which would come without a properly equipped accompanist will see himself forbidding departure.

Article 13: The competitor will have to dress an absolutely flawless equipment, in the colors of their club. With this effect, they will have to envisage several undershirts of spare as well as a tracksuit allowed during Eight and by poor time. Any get-up of fancy is strictly forbidden

Article 14: Every walker will have to hit inevitably, having pinned to the back and to the chest the official numbers provided by the organizers. These numbers will have to appear during all test, in a visible manner and in a good standing. At night, every walker will have to carry a fluorescent pinafore dress inevitably with his numbers. Numbers will be able to be folded under no circumstances or cut up. The tracksuit, also, will have to be inevitably provided with both numbers.

Article 15: The walkers will inevitably have to tarnish the right of the road, especially in turns. It have to remain most meadows possible of the right edge of the road to avoid disturbing the vehicles which double and avoid accidents responsibility of which would be attributed to the offenders. In this respect, the organizers decline any responsibility beforehand concerning the not observation of the highway code. All competitors will inevitably have to be protected at night by a car of accompaniment which will have to make work its warning lights. Article 16: Every walker will receive an individual movement order at first. He will have to be capable of showing it on the road and in controls any time; this obligation will be subjected to no infringement. After the operations of control, the sheet will be returned to the walker, belongs to an official follower.

Article 17: In controls obligatory stopping, medical care will be assured by the doctors officials of test. Other stopping volunteers will inevitably have to be taken in places known by an Official of test always on the official course of test.

For the Men : The obligatory stopping of 2 hours is envisaged in SATNT-DIZIER. The test will be neutralized from Mirecourt to Corcieux.

For the Women : Test will be neutralized of Vitry Le François in Neufchâteau, then from Mirecourt to Corcieux.

For Promotion :The test will be neutralized of Vitry Le François in Neufchâteau then from Mirecourt to Corcieux.

An additional stopping will be able to be decided by the Manager of test on opinion of the Doctor. It would take place in the place fixed and announced several hours beforehand. As other stopping, the time would be deducted from complete time. In case of abandonment or in stopping the walker will immediately have to with draw his numbers and give them as well as his individual sheet of control to an Official of test or to the leader of Control most meadows of the place of stopping.

To make easier and speed up his return, his indemnification will be paid to him by one of Officials authorized with this effect.

Article 18: A competitor who would think uneven or in the physical impossibility of joining the closest control will be able to be taken care by an official car authorized of test.

Article 19: The advertising such as it is envisaged by the regulations of the IAAF and FFA am allowed.

On the other hand the competitors or their club can contract agreements with commercial firms or of groups to allow them to include their advertising on undershirts and vehicles accompanists.

Article 20: Straight in picture. The competitors allow specifically the organizers of PARIS-COLMAR to use fixed or broadcasting pictures on which they will be able to appear, taken on the occasion of their participation in PARIS-COLMAR.

Article 21: The trainers or coaches owe, as the competitors, to carry a correct keeping and to carry the special badge for the duration of test.

Article 22: The trainer or coach will be able to be situated and walk next to the walker.

The follower car will be provided with a numbered official adhesive corresponding to the number of number of his walker.

A plate with the name of the walker will be appended at the front of the vehicle. A plate with its name will be appended at the back of the vehicle. Moreover, a place will have to be permanently reserved on board of this car for a possible commissioner indicated by the Manager of test.

Article 23: The Direction of test, assisted by the Officials will assure the good walk of competition.

In case of offence of the regulations of the Walk of penalties will be applied according to the article 34.

Article 24: The walkers, their trainers, their coaches have to sell off their personal expenses on course, the organizers acknowledge none of the debts which they could contract.

Article 25: For reasons of circulation, it will be tolerated only the only car provided with the official panel behind every walker. Other vehicles will have to be spread over course, but not hereabouts of the Walker.

Article 26: The detailed including route the indication of mileage and controls will make the object of an annex to the present regulations as well as the obligatory stopping and the closings of Posts Controls Signatures.

Article 27: The route will be signposted by the care of the organizers. The competitors as well as the accompanists will have to bring all their attention there not to make errors of route.

Article 28: The walkers and the officials are being supposed to do know course before departure

Article 29: In case or competors would make however errors of course which would favour them or if they succeeded at them to take abbreviated, the Manager of test and the Officials would appreciate, depending on circumstances, if accomplished benefit must be punished. The competitors are required to follow official course inside cities. The direction of test can neutralize a part of test. She can, in case of force person over 18 to change a part of the route.

Article 30: The Committee of Organization declines any responsibility in case of illness, accident, decease, loss of objects, before, during and after test.

Article 31: The competitors can always carry claim to the organization. Therefore, to justify the legitimacy of a claim, this one will be accompanied with the 100€ sum which will be returned in case of not justification of this one.

Article 32: The organizers signed a police of insurance « responsibility any risks » to a National Company correspondent to the model B appended to the ministerial decree of October 20th, 1956. This police covers no motor car. The organizers decline any responsibility by the present regulations in the event of accident

Article 33: The competitors and their followers are in the obligation to conform to the present regulation as well as to the circulars of application and organization which are addressed to them at the risk of stake except race of the test. The Manager of test is authorized to make any decisions necessary for the good sequence of test and notably that to stop every competitors having too much delay which would put it out of normal delays, without medical or security surveillance.

Article 34: The Manager of test will be able to indicate Officials to stop a rival.

Article 35: ANTI-DOPE CONTROL: In case of anti-dope control of test bonuses and prices will be given to the persons concerned after their results.

Article 36: JUDGEMENT In case of not respect for the regulations of the Walk, the walker will see himself applying decision following by the judges of walk indicated by the Committee of Organization of PARIS-COLMAR. ORAL OBSERVATIONS FIRST PENALTY 30 MINUTES: will be applied after 3 warnings. SECOND PENALTY 1 HOUR: will be applied after 4 warnings. THIRD PENALTY: will be applied out of run of the Rival by the Manager of test. Remark. Warnings can be given by the same judge. These decisions will be mentioned on the movement order of the Walker. STOPPING OF THE WALKER: The Judge who will register his warning and note that it is the 3rd warning will pronounce the stopping of the known walker on place itself. He will inform of it as soon as possible of Manager of test. Remark. Before being penalized by 30 minutes the walker will have received: - Oral observations.
- 3 Warnings. Before being penalized by 1 hour the walker will have received: - 1 Stopping of 30 minutes - 1 Warning.

Article 37: For all cases not envisaged by the present regulations, a jury will be formed by the Committee of Organization.
